The Roofing Specialists Ltd are the best in the game hands down. If I could give these guys a 10 star review I would.

No roofing company comes close with the industry knowledge than Frank Thomas and the team behind him.

I stumbled across this company not by choice but by shear luck, when I had another roofing company do a shoddy rescrew.

Unfortunately that company damaged my roof beyond repair. My insurance company contracted The Roofing Specialists Ltd as recommended by The Roofing Association of NZ to assess the damage in a consultancy capacity. To cut a long story short I got denied insurance under faulty workmanship and I ended up in the Disputes Tribunal.

Monique, the Administration Manager and QS, along side her father Frank Thomas who is a life member of the Roofing Association NZ have been completely professional.

They have helped me right the way through providing detailed, honest and understandable information regarding my roof.

I have absolutely no idea about roofing, so it was reassuring to have someone take the extra time to talk me through everything.

I’ll be using The Roofing Specialists Ltd to re-roof my house when the time comes.  Sometimes cheaper quotes end in a-lot of heart ache and it’s best to stick with knowledge and integrity.

BUPA FOXBRIDDGE RETIREMENT FACILITY 

The above project commenced in December 2017, a 7840m2 floor area care home and apartment facility which encompassed 520 tonne of structural steel in its construction. The project faced many challenges throughout not least of which was that of the roof truss design. After much ado and consideration it was decided in August 2018 to change from the original steel truss design to a timber alternative and thus started the challenge to complete the roof install as quickly as possible to get the program back on track with quality as is always at the forefront in all we do.  In terms of turn around of shop drawing approvals we had the first roof trusses arriving on site on 24th September this year.

Our roofing contractor who excelled throughout in terms of being right behind us at every turn, The Roofing Specialists Ltd, led by Graeme (Snow) Whittaker, completed the roofing iron install on 6th December with ridge and back flashings following closely behind. From my perspective I can’t praise these guys enough for their proactive and program orientated approach at all times. 

So to summarize, it will be indeed a very happy Christmas at Foxbridge Retirement Development in Te Rapa as LBL and her contractors 
(we always call it a her when it’s successful boys!!!), will certainly have a good years end in terms of achievement going forward.

I was the only fly in the ointment because I couldn't make up my mind about the colour.  Ironsand was our final choice and, originally, it was my first choice. It's a great choice and we are really happy with it.

Would highly recommend The Roofing Specialists Ltd for removing our old tiles that had asbestos to installing our new roof. An excellent hard working crew that did an excellent job.  Highly recommend this great team of workers.

Year 2011 

The house was moved in four pieces from an Auckland house removal yard in 2002. Originally 1950’s, with additions and alterations done in the 80’s, it had an old Hardies shingle style roof product. 

 The roof was old and had badly deteriorated, the house leaked, and it was going to be difficult and expensive to renew. As you can see by the roof design in the photos it wasn’t going to be easy. I had had a number of roofers look at it – some didn’t quote at all, some shook their heads and some even recommended the Roofing Specialists for a job this size and complex. 

I spoke with Frank from the Roofing Specialists in 2008, over 2 years before the roof was done. Their quote was very reasonable and their service was excellent then. In 2010 I finally got my new roof. I cannot say enough about the team from the Roofing Specialists. Frank, Bill, Wayne and his roofers and the admin team of Monique and co were outstanding throughout. 

They were always kind, friendly, and patient (especially when I thought I had chosen the wrong colour), nothing was any bother, their responses and patience to my questions were tremendous, and they were always professional, and helpful. Wayne and the lads on the job were extremely efficient, tidy, and courteous towards myself and my family. 

Their workmanship was exceptional; they went the extra mile and did a superb job. It seemed like in no time my house was being transformed and the final result is just stunning. I couldn’t wait for it to rain for the first time!! If contemplating re roofing,  we have no hesitation in recommending The Roofing Specialists Ltd. 
Right from the start, we found the company to be professional, punctual and price conscious.  Glenn McIntosh and Bill Bennetto consulted with us and met us for an on site inspection of the roof of our commercial building.  This inspection was thorough and involved speaking with our tenants to make sure their business interruption was kept to a minimum. 
The roof quote was detailed and the roof workmanship completed to the high standard we expected.  The company organised to have repairs to wall claddings, etc completed by a competent builder.  The re roofing was not attempted unless the weather was favorable. 
The clean up and final inspection of the roof was professional.  We were able to recommend the company to other members of our family when they needed to re roof their residential property. There was a need for this to be done quickly and it was also completed to the high standard expected.
